This privacy policy tells you how we use information collected by SNU LEI – Hangeul. By using SNU LEI – Hangeul, you are accepting the practices described in this privacy policy. 1. Information to be collected and method of collection
(1) Personal information items to be collected
In order to provide smooth services, the company collects the following personal information each time the app service is used:
Log Analysis: Visiting date and time, service usage records, etc. through Google Analytics and Firebase
(2) Method of collection
The company collects personal information through the following methods:
- Collection during the execution or use of the app program
- Provision from partner companies (Google Analytics, Firebase)
2. Use of collected information
The company utilizes the collected personal information for the following purposes:
(1) Provision of App Services
Providing users with content, analyzing user activities and errors in the app they use.
3. Sharing collected information
The company uses users' personal information within the scope notified in "2. Use of collected information" as a general principle.
Unless otherwise notified in "2. Use of collected information," the company will not use users' personal information beyond the scope stated or disclose it to third parties without the user's prior consent. However, the following exceptions apply:
- When the user has given prior consent.
- When required by law or when requested by investigative agencies in accordance with the procedures and methods prescribed by law for investigation purposes.
4. Period for retention and use of personal information
The personal information stated in Clause 1 is collected and the content is immediately destroyed upon the user's request for deletion or withdrawal. However, if it is necessary to retain the member information (including the content) for a certain period of time as stipulated by applicable laws and regulations, the company will retain it in accordance with the relevant laws and regulations.
5. Procedure and method of destruction of personal information
The personal information of users is generally destructed without delay once the purpose of collection and use has been achieved. The company's procedure and method for the destruction of personal information are as follows:
(1) Destruct Procedure
The information provided by users for service usage is transferred to a separate database (or a separate filing cabinet in the case of paper) after a certain period of time has elapsed since its use (referring to the retention and use period) in accordance with internal policies and other relevant laws for information protection reasons.
Unless required by law, such personal information will not be used for any purpose other than retention.
(2) Destruct Method
Personal information printed on paper is destructed by shredding or incineration.
Personal information stored in electronic file format is deleted using technically irreversible methods to prevent data recovery.
6. Users' right to access and option
Users have the right to access their registered personal information (including content) at any time and can refuse to consent to the company's handling of personal information, which may result in the denial of service usage or a request for content deletion. However, in such cases, the company will conduct an internal review to assess the timeliness of the content before taking appropriate actions.
Users can contact the Personal Information Manager via email for prompt actions.
If a user requests the correction of personal information errors, the company will not use or provide such personal information until the correction is completed. Additionally, if incorrect personal information has already been provided to third parties, the company will promptly notify the third parties of the correction results to ensure that the correction is implemented.
The company handles terminated or deleted personal information at the request of users in accordance with the "5. Procedure and method of destruction of personal information" specified, ensuring that it cannot be accessed or used for any other purposes.

The company implements the following technical and managerial measures to ensure the safety and security of users' personal information, preventing its loss, theft, leakage, alteration, or damage:

The company takes every effort to prevent the leakage or damage of users' personal information due to hacking, computer viruses, or other threats. (3) Minimization and Education of Handling Staff
The handling of personal information is limited to designated personnel within the company. Separate passwords are assigned to authorized personnel and regularly updated. (4) Operation of Personal Information Protection Committee

However, the company assumes no responsibility for any incidents arising from the user's own negligence or internet-related problems leading to the leakage of personal information.
